He interned with morning shows in Hawaii and gradually worked his way back home to Boston, Massachusetts; thats where Rob started to find his voice. He ran a multitude of successful promotions across the city and found a home in the Promotions Dept. at 107.3 WAAF. Rob wanted more and desired to find a position on the air which took him to San Diego in late 2004. At the age of 22, he was discovered by the number one talk show in San Diego, “The Mikey Show”, for his performance in “The Mikey Show Apprentice”. He was soon after made a part of the cast and was dubbed “Boston Rob”. Boston Rob has been with The Mikey Show for close to 4 years and has become an integral part of the program. He has an extensive knowledge of music and his tastes vary from Frank Sinatra, Mariah Carey and Boys 2 Men to Stone Temple Pilots, Kanye West and Sublime. Boston Rob knows how to take control of a room and bring out the party in everyone. He has been hosting many different events all around the city of San Diego for the past 3 years and he fits any and every mood.
